Timothy "Timmy" Wayne Hubbard, 82, of Bay City, Texas, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025. He was born in Angleton, Texas, to the late Russell Hubbard and Georgia Truitt Hubbard. Timmy Hubbard was a truly unique soul – a man of simple pleasures and complex dreams. A millwright for most of his life, his hard work not only put food on the table but provided his children with unparalleled global adventures. He was passionate about education and about health – sometimes in truly creative ways that his family will remember (and chuckle about) long after today. His dreams and schemes were often larger than life, just like his hope for a healthier world. But his passions and pleasures always remained with the small things – tending his garden, working the grass farm, fishing, good food, football especially when his grandsons played. They will always remember him coaching from the side lines and yelling ALLRIGHT!!! At the top of his lungs and of course perpetually getting stuck in the mud in the grass field. As long as there was sunshine and a tractor to ride, He was happy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Hubbard; his mother, Georgia Viola Truitt; father, Rush Martin Hubbard; Sisters, Audrey Carol Lovett; and Sister-in-law, Barbara Hubbard. He is survived in life by his three loving children, Pam Donaldson, David Hubbard and Christi Moore; six grandchildren – Embry Smith, Jordan Donaldson, Brandon Donaldson, Meagan Hubbard, Hannah Hubbard and Kelsey Moore; and two great-granddaughters Loralie Donaldson and Faelynn Donaldson. Numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 9-10:00am Monday, August 25, 2025, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00am with Jim Hardaway officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers for Timmy will be Jordan Donaldson, Brandon Donaldson, Kelsey Moore, Rusty Hubbard, Keith Hubbard and Bubba Hubbard.
