Merilyn Faye (Kerlin) Stevens, 90, died Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Taylor, Texas on July 4, 1935, to the late Leonard and Beatrice (Schwartz) Kerlin. She moved to Westfield in the 1950's and worked at Digital Equipment for many years and retired in 1991. She loved the outdoors riding her mule into the woods with her BB Gun and Bible, looking and taking pictures of deer and wild turkeys. She also fed her birds, especially the hummers and Orioles. She adored all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren known to them as Nina, spending many vacations together in Rockport. Known as Mersie to many friends, she touched their hearts with love and laughter. Marilyn was pre-deceased by both her husbands, Andy Tobias and Sunny Stevens. She leaves her children and their families. She was predeceased by her brother Milton Kerlin and her sister Delores Locklin. Names of living relatives intentionally omitted.
