Bio

Roy Junior Overturf, 83, of Rockwall , Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on March 15, 2017. Roy was surrounded by his wife Clara, family and friends. A memorial will be held Saturday, April 12, @ 1:30 at the Lakeside Village Community Center, located at 4100 Village Drive, Rockwall, Texas. Roy was a 1949 Pleasant Grove Graduate and attended North Texas Junior College on an athletic scholarship. He worked for Sun Oil Company and Drilling Mud Incorporated. Roy was a past member of the Dallas Petroleum Club and Dallas Athletic Club.
