Bio

Son of Harl & Anna (Henke) Simpson. US Navy - 1947/1950. Married to: 1. Rita Austin in 1951. 2. Maxine Zulkoski on 11-5-1960. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Jodalon Simpson and Candice Simpson, a stepdaughter, Marlene Worm, and a stepson, Jesse Worm. Survivors of the immediate family include his wife, Maxine of Wood River; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Kelly and Ginger Simpson of Castalian Springs, Tenn., Kip Simpson of Reno, Nev., Kevin and Robbie Simpson of Broken Bow, Okla., and Harl William Simpson of Wood River; two stepdaughters and a stepson-in-law, Sandra Worm of Lincoln and Jerrlyn and Douglas Shupe of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Worm of Grand Island; two sisters, Mable Rohr of Sacramento, Calif., and Lela Elliot of Loveland, Colo.; and a sister-in-law, Doris Simpson of St. Paul. Additional survivors include 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
