Bio

Alice Croshaw, age 98, was called to her eternal home on Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Fall Creek Valley Care Center, Fall Creek, Wis., where she had been a resident since 2005. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at the Fall Creek Valley Care Center Chapel with Pastors Steve Hurd and Kenneth Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Edson Union Cemetery, Edson, Wis. Friends and family may call from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to service time on Tuesday morning at the chapel. Plombon's Funeral Service of Stanley, Wis. is assisting the family with arrangements. Alice was born December 17, 1909, in the Town of Edson, south of Boyd, Wis., the daughter of Orrie and Mary (Romph) Croshaw. She grew up in the Edson area and remained on the family farm, farming with her sisters and brothers until moving to the Chippewa Manor Retirement Center in 1991. In 2002, she then moved to Oak Gardens Assisted Living in Altoona, Wis. Alice is survived by her nephews, Robert (Helen) Hartmann of Fall Creek and Phillip (Ruth) Hartmann of Onalaska, Wis.; and their daughters, Christine (Justin) Lundin and Heather (Fiance-Zack Henderson); also a great- niece, Allison Lundin; along with friends who also loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Laura (Herman) Nass, Ada (Carl) Hartmann, Florence Croshaw; brother, Leslie Croshaw; and nephew, Ronald Hartmann.
