Bio

Lloyd Howell Brown, 59, 90 S. 900 E., Georgian Apartments, Provo, died Saturday of a heart attack, while working on construction. He was born Jan. 14, 1914, in Provo, the son of Reed and Mary Jeannette Wilkin Brown. He married Jevene Yong and they were later divorced. He married Blanche Blackley and they were later separated. He received his education in the Provo City Schools and was a graduate of Lincoln High School of Orem. He married and made his home in Provo and was employed as a carpenter most of his life. He lived in Provo until 1952 when he moved to Springville when he married Blanche Blackley. After their separation, he moved back to Provo where he lived for the past 1 1/2 years. He was employed by many contractors, Remington Arms, and durng the construction of Geneva Steel by U.S. Steel Corp. For the past 13 years he worked for Jensen Brothers Construction company. He was an Elder in the LDS Church. He was a veteran of World War II, where he was in the SeaBees. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and sports. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hartman (Betty Kay) Daniels, Norwalk, Calif.; Mrs. Harvey (Jeannette) Croft, Henderson, Nev., Mrs. Glen (Renee) Tunheim, El Segundo, Calif; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Brown of Provo; four brothers, Verl R. and Dee G. Brown, Provo; Lyle G. Brown, Salt Lake City; Nolan R. Brown, Tigard, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. William E. (May) Isaacson, Springville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services.
