Hughleen Howell Fain Hykel, 88, of Leonard, Texas, passed away on July 23, 2025, at the Colonial Lodge. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas, with Jeremy Ogdie officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Hughleen was born September 4, 1936, in Tyler, Texas, to Hugh and Evelyn Turner Howell. She married Cleo Fain on October 10, 1953, in Smith County. They raised their family in Mesquite, Texas. Moved to Wills Point, Texas where they lived till Cleo passed. She married Robert Hykel on June 15, 2001, in Mesquite, Texas. They lived in Edgewood, Texas. After Robert passed she moved to Leonard, Texas. She worked for St. Regis Paper Company and Walmart. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Wills Point, Texas.
