Sharon LaRue Devey Edelen, 84, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2025. She was born on July 31st, 1940, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Sharon was the second youngest of seven children born to Reed and Elsie Devey. Sharon dedicated over 30 years of her life, serving the children of the Granite School district, where she was known by her peers for her strong work ethic and kind heart. Sharon had a deep love of the outdoors and cherished the time she was able to spend camping with her family and friends. Her warm heart, sense of humor, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many, and will be missed by all. She is survived by her three sons, Charles, David and Michael, her sister Karen; four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Friends are welcome to attend the graveside services held on August 2nd at 12:00 noon at Elysian Burial Gardens 1075 E. 4580 S. Salt lake City Ut 84117
