LaRay Coombs Obituary LaRay Coombs peacefully passed away in his daughter's home in Duchesne, Utah the morning of July 7, 2025. The best mountain man that lived in Elberta, Utah for 40 years. His passion was having family gatherings, and taking the kids on a sleigh ride on an old truck hood. His passion was horses. He loved to hunt and fish. He was one of the favorite uncles. He loved to tease and welcomed everyone into his home. Survived by: daughter, Francine and Tony Silcox, daughter Julie Richins, eight grandchildren, Loren Whitman "Katie" Tilyn Albert "Frank" Jake Hampton, Robert Hampton, "Jaylee" Christopher Silcox, Kelly Silcox, ten great grandchildren. Alia, Tayanna, Zephyr, Tyler, Trager, Tucker, Bentley, Zade, Adilyn, Timber. Preceded in death by Betty Coombs, wife, Laura Coombs, daughter, Jared Bavens, grandson. Funeral services will be held at Fountain Green Cemetery. Graveside service starts at 11:00 am on Monday, July 14 at 486 N. State St.
