Bio
Dorean Evelyn Haddy, age 87, of Yukon, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born in Woodward, Oklahoma on August 16, 1937 to parents Samuel Edward Winters and Eula Deen Irvin. Dorean was a graduate of Sharon-Mutual High School. Shortly after high school, she moved to Oklahoma City and started a career at Southwestern Bell Telephone where she retired in the early 1990s. After retiring, she spent her days with her greatest joys— her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a loving mother, Nana, and friend to everyone who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, any OU sports, the Oklahoma City Thunder, old western movies, and sitting on her back porch with her son and LeRoy. She will be greatly missed by her family and those she called friends. Dorean is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Edward Winters, her mother, Eula Deen Irvin-Easter, her brother, Edward Steve Winters, and her sister Nadeen Winters-Dill.
