Bio

Harvie C. Gray Funeral services have been set for Thursday at 2:30 p.m. for Harvie Calvin Gray, 47, who died in an auto accident Saturday on the Corcoran highway. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Gray, route 2, box 393; three children, Virginia Gray and Gertrude Gray, Tulare, and Bill Gray, Grandfield, Okla., and four brothers, Roy Gray, Oliver Gray, Ollie Gray and Robert Gray, Gainesville, Tex. Services will be in the chapel of the Hamilton Peers Funeral service, with the Rev. Jerry Dudley of the Free Will Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Tulare cemetery. Gray had lived in the Tulare area for the past 14 years and had been employed on the Hillman ranch west of Tulare.
