Dallas Morning News New Identification Made of Train Victim: Special to the News Sherman, Texas Oct 10, 1938 The man buried Saturday afternoon, after being identified as a cook who lost his job with a carnival show here, Monday was identified as being Turner Arrington, brother of Floyd Arrington, farmer living five miles east of Sherman. A mutilated body was found Saturday a mile east of Sherman on the Texas & Pacific tracks. Identification was from clothing and by tattooed initals on his right arm. Turner Arrington, 33, lived part of the time with Floyd Arrington and with three sisters in Oklahoma. Floyd Arrington said that he and Turner visited the fair Friday night and that he left before Turner did. Arrington is survived by his brother and three sisters, Mrs. Robert Myers, El Dorado, Okla; Mrs Jake Myers, Healdton, Okla. ; Mrs Eber Morgan, Atoka, Okla. The body was first believed to be that of Matt Snyder, employed as a cook in a concession operated by Frank Waldron.
