First wife was Juanita Sanders, married 1923 in Dallas County, Texas. Second wife was Annie Doiron, married circa 1936. --- From the Clarion-Ledger (Jackson, MS) of 10/6/1963: Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church for Welborn Leon Curtis, 60-year old dragline operator for the Cook Construction Company. The Rev. will Roy Self will officiate and interment be in Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Gregory Funeral Home. Curtis. native of Palmer, Tex., came and here from Kansas during the summer and died Friday after a short illness. He was a member of the Christian Church. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Annie Doiron Curtis of Yazoo City; four sons, Harold Curtis and L.J. Curtis, both of Yazoo City, Louis Curtis of Calhoun, Tenn., and Kenneth Curtis of Quinton Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Stuart of Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., and Jeanette Curtis of Yazoo City; a brother, L. Curtis of Longview, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Eunia Davis of McDove, La., and Mrs. Henry Shatoska of Plaquemine La., 14 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
