Bio

Parents were John Brown, and Eliz. Mahala James. First wife was Jane Cole. She died while he was gone to war. Second wife was Sarah Martha Miles. He and his younger brother, John E. Brown served with the 29th Regt., NC Troops. William received a discharge from the Confederate Army because he suffered from Epileptic seizures. I'm not sure what year he died.
