Raymond Nemeskal age 70 of Broken Bow, NE, passed away May 18, 2025, at the CHI Health Center Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow. The service will be livestreamed at www.govierbrothers.com. Burial will follow in the Douglas Grove Cemetery near Comstock, NE. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Online memories may be left at www.govierbrothers.com Raymond was born on September 19, 1954, in Ord, NE, to William and Mary (Bartu) Nemeskal. Raymond grew up on a farm near Ord, NE, attending school in Ord, and graduating from Ord High School. Raymond farmed with his parents until 1962, when the family moved into Ord. Raymond worked at the local grocery store. After Raymond's mother's death in 2009, Raymond moved to Broken Bow and worked for Custer Care Center until he retired. Growing up, Raymond had a favorite dog named "Charlie". Raymond enjoyed his dogs throughout his life, Country music, the meals on wheels from Prairie Pioneer Center, and he greatly enjoyed visiting with family from California. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary. Raymond is survived by a handful of cousins. (govierbrothers.com/obituaries)
