Shawn Harding June 17, 1957 - June 17, 2025 Shawn's Obituary Shawn Lee Harding was born on June 17, 1957 in Harper, Kansas, the son of Lloyd Tommy and Rose Arlene (Wohlschlegel) Harding. The family made their home in Harper, where Shawn attended grade school before going onto Chaparral High School. Excelling in track as a runner, he also enjoyed baseball, basketball, and football. After a short time of failing health, Shawn passed away on June 17, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Harding; mother, Rose (Wohlschlegel) Washburn and stepfather, Guy Washburn; and grandchild, Rhylee Harding. His survivors include his wife, Charlotte of the home; children: Amber Harding of Wichita, Kansas, Michael Harding (Emily) of Honeywell, Kansas, Matthew Harding (Kinsey Nemecheck) of Wichita, Carrie Kelly (Michael) of Norwich, Kansas, Cassie Bohrer (Sedrick Woods) of Haysville, Kansas, Shelby Heitz (Jason) of Topeka, Kansas, and Shalie Byers (Bryan) of Udall, Kansas; siblings: Elaine Armstrong, Joe Harding (Mary Ellen), Shelle Mathes (Ron), and Troy Harding (Jan), all of Harper; sixteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
