Eugene Wesley Anderson, 74, of Grand Island, Nebraska, passed away on June 6, 2025 at the CHI Health St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska following an illness. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 1 to 3 p.m at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island, Nebraska. Eugene was born on August 14, 1950, in Holdrege, Nebraska, to Wesley and Dorothy (Gitt) Anderson. He grew up in Holdrege and was the second of four children in the family. He graduated from Holdrege High School in 1968 and attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln. In 1970, Eugene married Jane Hasselquist and was blessed with four children. They resided in Grand Island, Nebraska; Lexington, Nebraska; Scottsbluff, Nebraska; and Ogallala, Nebraska. In Ogallala, Eugene opened his own print shop, High Plains Printing, in 1982. In 2002, Eugene married Theresa and with this union he gained two step-daughters. Eugene and Theresa resided in El Cajon, California from 1999 until 2010 when they returned to Nebraska, settling in Grand Island. Eugene enjoyed working, gardening, watching cooking shows, Miller Lite and Reese's Peanut Butter cups (shapes only). Survivors include his wife, Theresa; his sister Patricia (Tom) Baker of Trenton, NE; brother, Stewart (Evelyn) Anderson of Ocala, Florida; children, Stephanie (Jason) Lemonds of Tabor, Iowa; Robin (Gary) Cobaugh and Elizabeth Anderson (Travis Jaeger), all of Ogallala, Nebraska; Mark (Becky) Anderson of Arvada, Colorado; stepdaughters, Hope (Mike) Anderson of Giltner, Nebraska; Heather (Mike) Brogden of San Diego, California; thirteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Preceding him in death were Eugene's mother and father; and sister, Betty Jo Anderson.
