Gordon Hall Obituary Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tate Mortuary on Jun. 6, 2025. Gordon R Hall December 14, 1926 – June 1, 2025 The Honorable Gordon R Hall passed away June 1, 2025. He enjoyed a lengthy and distinguished legal career. He was Tooele County attorney, 3rd District Judge, Justice, and the longest serving Chief Justice of the Utah Supreme Court. He was a proud Tooele Boy. Gordon was born to Roscoe J Hall and Clara M Freestone, and moved to Tooele in 1941. He was married to his true soulmate and love of his life, Doris Gillespie, in 1947. He is survived by his children, Rick and Craig Hall, grandson Brian Hall, as well as numerous accomplished nieces and nephews who are the enduring legacy of his now deceased siblings Ella Rae and D'Aure "Buck." A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in the Tooele City Cemetery.
