Online Obituary; Langsford Funeral Home; 115 SW 3rd St.; Lee's Summit, Missouri. Thomas Dean Dworak, 58, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. A memorial service is scheduled for 11: am on Tuesday, March 26, 219 at Langsford Funeral Home, in Lee's Summit, Missouri. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the KC Pet Project. Thomas was born on April 5, 1960, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Joseph B and Catherine A (Prusha) Dworak. He graduated from the University of Missouri with his Master's Degree in mechanical engineering. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Lohman for 34 years. He was a dedicated father to three daughters, a loyal husband, great provider and a hard worker. He was a kind and generous person who would give the shirt off his back. Thomas worked for 28 years as a mechanical engineer at Honeywell Manufacturing. He enjoyed children, dogs, being in the outdoors, and fishing. His hobbies included helping people by painting and home improvements, taking his labs to the park, and coaching his daughters in sports. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dworak; and brother, Joseph Dworak. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Dworak, ; his wife, Mary Lou Dworak; daughters, Lena Bickle (Richy); Megan Nelson (Matt); and Rachel Dworak; brother, Ken Dworak; sisters, Lora Jackson (Sid); Jonie Muenks (Steve); granddaughter, Olivia Bickle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
