Bio

TAYLOR Sunday, June 8, 2008, at 5 p.m. in Singing River Hospital left this life to live eternally in heaven. T-Boy served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was stationed in North Africa and Italy and served until the end of WWII. He worked in excess of 38 years at International Paper Company and retired in 1983. T-Boy loved to grow watermelon and cantaloupes in his garden. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, grandpa, brother-in-law, and friend to all of his family, relatives and neighbors. He loved the creek, fishing and boating. T-Boy was a lifetime member of the Orange Grove United Methodist Church (now the Midway United Methodist Church). He was a member of the American legion Post 160. He was horn March 9, 1921, to Marvel Taylor and Sabra Smith Taylor who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, June Necaise Taylor: two sisters, three brothers, his infant son, Craig Taylor, and his grandson, Tony Lynn Taylor. His survivors include his son, Dennis lee (Mary) Taylor; his daughter, Darlene Taylor; his grandchildren Craig (Janet) Taylor, Bryan Plummmer, Ryan (Stephanie) Plummer, Dana (Jason) Horton, Teresa Taylor; nine great grandchildren; his only sister-in-law, Iris (David) Taylor, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 10, 2008, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss. Services will he held Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at 11 am. in Holder-Wells Chapel with Reverends M.L. McCormick Jr. and Patsy Twiner officiating. Graveside servvice will follow the funeral at the Orange Grove Cemetery next to his wife and infant son. Pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, Mike Lollar, Dennis Lollar, Paul Lollar Coley Sullivan and William Schafer, with honorary pallbearers the members of the Senior Sunday School Class at the Midway United Methodist Church. Arrangements provided by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss. family owned and operated.
