February 18, 1997 - June 1, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Trevor Melvin Weidner on June 1, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2025 from 4-5 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 5 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Hankinson, ND. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery. Trevor was born on February 18, 1997, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, to Jolene Anderson and Todd Weidner. He was baptized at the Union Congregational Church and confirmed at Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Trevor attended Hankinson Public School and graduated with the Class of 2016. Following graduation, he worked for several years at Heartland Candies in Hankinson. Most recently, he was employed with Alexandria Gravel Products. Trevor had a deep love for sports and was a natural athlete. He trained in Tae Kwon Do and played baseball, basketball, and football. His biggest passion was football. His talent and dedication earned him a spot on the all-region team, and he was honored to play in the North Dakota Shrine Bowl and the SasKota Bowl his senior year. Trevor also loved the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and fishing. In recent years, Trevor cherished the time he spent with Carina and his stepson, Cam, who affectionately called him "Daddy Trevor." His love for family was evident in all that he did. Trevor is survived by his mother Jolene and stepfather Johnny Ringsaker; his loving partner Carina Bercier and stepson Cameron; his grandmothers Sharon Anderson and Janel Brtek; and grandfather Richard (Myrna) Anderson. He is also survived by his sisters, Mariah Weidner (Ruefin Sleh) and Brandi Anderson (Justin Prosser); stepbrother Anthony Ringsaker (Haley Halvorson); stepsisters Kayla Ringsaker and Kassie Ringsaker (Justin Sulzle); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Melvin Weidner, and his father Todd Weidner. Trevor will be remembered for his kind heart, athletic spirit, and the love he had for those closest to him. His absence leaves a deep void, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Photo & Obituary Source: Frank Family Funeral Home
