Steven I. Olson, 67, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday July 17th at the Church of the Ascension, 9510 W. 127th St., Overland Park, KS. Steve was born February 4, 1948, in Raymond, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Olson, his son, Zachary (Danielle), and his grandson Noah all of Overland Park, Kansas. Steve was an accomplished engineer managing phosphate mines in Polk County, Florida and later became the co-owner of a screen-printing business in Lakeland, Florida. Steve's favorite expression, taught to his grandson, is "No Big Deal". He will be greatly missed.
