Bio
Tillie Whatley, 84 of Temple, died Wednesday, May 28, at a local hospital. Services will be held in private in Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple. She was born Dec. 24, 1940, in Holland to Joe Jarolik and Louise Roznovsky Jarolik. She attended schools in Troy. She lived in the Temple area all of her life. She married Mack Thornton Whatley on Jan. 25, 1958 in Rogers. She managed rental properties for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband; and one great-grandchild Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Bonner and Sandra Wilde, both of Temple; a sister, Mary Davis of Temple; a brother, Frankie Jarolik of Belton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple. Temple Daily Telegram. Thursday, May 29, 2025.
