Dolores Ann Balcar Jenkins of Poteet, Texas passed away on Saturday May 24, 2025. She was born to Emil and Katherine Riehs Balcar in La Grange, Texas on December 5, 1936. Dolores was a dedicated Christian woman whose love for her family was boundless. She found joy in nurturing her plants, dancing, and singing, always filling her home with warmth and laughter. A devoted mother to her children, she took immense pride in her role as a grandmother, showering her grandchildren with love and attention. An avid sports fan, Dolores was a loyal supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, often sharing stories of her younger days playing softball, reminding us all that her spirit was as vibrant and energetic as ever. Her nurturing nature and infectious joy brought light to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. Graveside services will be held in her honor on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:00 am, at Rutledge Cemetery, Poteet, Texas. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Dolores's life and the love she shared. Food and fellowship to immediately follow, where we will remember the beautiful moments and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Dolores Ann Jenkins will forever remain in our hearts, as we hold the precious memories of her life close to us. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Curry Collins Jenkins, Jr.; parents; sons-in-law, Mike Fischer, Lee Ripley, and David Ebbers and grandson, Corey Mansell.
