Gloria Dawn Way, age 51, of Chappell, NE passed away at the Sedgewick County Memorial Hospital on Sunday, April 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Cremation has taken place, and memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Sidney with Pastor James Leslie and Mike Barton officiating. Gloria will be remembered for her steady presence, strong spirit, and deep love for her family. Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Gloria's care and funeral arrangements. Gloria Dawn was born on May 16, 1973, in Sidney, NE. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1991. She married her soulmate Daniel Way on April 14th, 1995, and together they created a life built on love, laughter, hard work, and shared values. Gloria was a proud mother to her son, Dustin, and later found one of her greatest joys of being a grandmother. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Whether fishing by the water's edge, riding motorcycles with her husband through the countryside, or simply sitting and talking with her loved ones, she found happiness in life's simple and meaningful moments. Her five grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she embraced her role as "Grandma" with open arms and an open heart. Those who knew Gloria knew she had a heart that never tired of giving. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, listen without judgement, and love without conditions. Her selflessness was not a trait she learned, but a way she lived. She showed up for others, in big and small ways, and always with her whole heart. Gloria's love had no limits. She was patient, generous, forgiving, and real. Her strength was quiet but unwavering, and her ability to love without conditions was one of her most extraordinary gifts. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Way of Chappell, NE, son Dustin and wife Britany Way of Chappell, NE, mother Betty Glassburn of Sidney, NE, sisters Tiffani and husband Shawn Jallen of Marshfield, MO, and Crystal Sebold of Sidney, NE, brother Matthew Sebold of Wellington, CO, father and mother-in-law Mac and Ruth Way of Lodgepole, NE, brother-in-law Jim and wife Cathy Way of Chappell, NE, sister-in-law Anita and husband Mike Barton of Buffalo, WY, and five grandchildren, Aubrey, Jaidyn, Bentley, Ryker and Danny. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family. Gloria was preceded in death by her father Joseph Didier, her grandparents Harry and Alice Didier, DeWitt and Eva Glassburn, brother Thadeus Didier, and nephew Mark Swanson Jr. Through Gloria's time here was far too short, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain eternal. She was a beacon of light, and her presence will be missed but never forgotten.
