Hilton Tuttle LA VERNE – Hilton R. Tuttle, 61, of La Verne, died May 18, 2002, at Kaiser Permanente Hospital, Fontana. He was born Sept. 19, 1940, in St. Claire County, Missouri. He was a lifetime resident of La Verne. He was the custodian manager for Cal Poly Pomona for 30 years. He served with the U.S. Navy and he was a member of the House of Praise Fellowship in La Verne. Mr. Tuttle is survived by his wife, Anna Tuttle of La Verne; two brothers, Walter (Barbara) Tuttle of Perris and Jerome (Lynette) Tuttle of Idaho; two nieces; and two nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the House of Praise, La Verne, 22282 3rd St., La Verne. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the House of Praise. Services and entombment will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Pomona Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 490 E. La Verne Ave., Pomona, CA 91767.
