Bio

Sarah was the daughter of William Anderson Nations born in Illinois and E. unknown born about 1836 MS. Sarah married William H Blanchard on the 15th of Dec 1882 in Franklin County, Texas. Her husband died in 1917 and she was residing with her stepdaughter, Nannie McCullough in Upshur County 1920 census. Sarah was the mother of nine children, only four lived to adulthood, some are buried in Morris Cemetery. Her actual place of burial is unknown, her husband is buried in Morris Cemetery. She was survived by children Mable Ola Davis 1884 - 1941, Eddie Crawford Blanchard 1887 - 1928, Carl Abbott Blanchard 1893 - 1933 and Clyda May McClendon 1896 - 1963. Brothers, John Anderson Nations and Charles William Nations.
