Darlyn Ann Weber 23 Nov 1951 – 19 Apr 2025 Darlyn Ann Weber, 73, of Wahpeton, ND, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Darlyn Ann Weber, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted nurse, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and upheld by the strength of her faith. She was born on October 23, 1951, in Breckenridge, Minnesota, to Fritz and Ann Klein (Janu) and was raised on a farm in Wilkin County. Darlyn graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1969 and went on to earn her nursing degree from St. Luke's in Fargo in 1970. She later continued her education at Moorhead State University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 1989. On November 7, 1970, Darlyn married the love of her life, Tom Weber, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Breckenridge. They built a life together in Mooreton, North Dakota, before eventually settling in Wahpeton in 1990. Darlyn dedicated her entire 50-year nursing career to Saint Francis CHI Medical Center in Breckenridge, where she was known for her compassion, gentle spirit, and unwavering commitment to caring for others. Faith and family were the foundation of Darlyn's life. Her deep Christian faith guided her every step, and she found joy and strength in her relationship with God. She was a proud and loving mother and a devoted grandmother. Darlyn had a warm heart and a generous soul, and she filled her days with simple joys. She loved animals, especially cats, and found joy in sewing, reading, taking photos, and baking—her homemade bread and caramel rolls were family favorites. She was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Ann Klein, and her father and mother-in-law, John and Katie Weber. She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren, her 3 brothers, their spouses, and families. Darlyn's legacy of love, faith, and kindness lives on in all who were blessed to know her.
