Bio

Thomas Hardy Hutchinson came to America from Derbyshire, England abt. 1849. He married Lucinda Dement and quickly started a career of establishing schools in Wayne and Jones Co. Ms. and Choctaw, Al. Thomas was the first superintendent of schools in Wayne Co., Ms. 1871-1876.
