Bio
Jack Don Abbott, 79 of Eustace, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 19, 2019. He was born on December 31, 1939 in Eustace, Texas to the late Gene & Lucille Davis Abbott. Jack graduated from Alice High School in Alice, Texas in 1956. He worked for many years as an iron worker all around the Dallas – Ft. Worth area. In Jack's spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shopping, gardening and reading either a good sci-fi book or his beloved bible. But mostly he cherished spending time with his family and friends. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Rosemary Davis Abbott; children Debra Manziel, Richard McCarley and Troy Abbott & his wife Victoria; grandchildren Makenzie Abbott, Lyndee Manziel and Annabelle Manziel; brothers Frank Abbott, Philip Abbott, Delmer Abbott; sister; Deborah Cody. He has many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Jack will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Vandal Abbott and Lloy Abbott; grandson Charles Ridling. Bro. Paul McKinney with the First Baptist Church in Eustace, Texas will officiate for the Abbott family.
