Bio

"Florence M. Reid, who resided at Victorian Court Apartments, died unexpectedly Saturday night at a St Joseph hospital. Mrs. Reid was a St Joseph native and lifelong resident. She was a member of the Bu-An-Co Garden Club, Westminster Presbyterian Church and of the Women's Association of that organization. She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Reid, who died in 1968. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Stella G. McGammon of St Joseph and Mrs. Lena E. Grimm of Kansas City, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Meierhoffer-Fleeman Chapel with the Rev. Bruce W. H. Urich officiating. Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery."
