Joan Emily (Hruska) Hronek, 78, of Loveland , Colorado , passed away August 29th, in her home, surrounded by family. Joan was born April 16th, 1938 in Garland , Nebraska to James and Lillian Hruska. Joan brought happiness and light in to every room she entered. She is known for her strength to keep going. Loving on the kids, and spoiling the grandkids were her favorite things to do. She loved crocheting and making blankets for everyone in the family. Joan loved and served Jesus with her whole heart. She attended church and bible studies with Resurrection Fellowship and New Freedom Outreach Center . She was full of lively spunk and sweet love. She will be dearly missed by her two brothers; Val Hruska (Adelaide) and Jerry Hruska (Sandy), sister Mary Ann Bouc, three children; Denise Van Why, Jerry Hronek (Heidi) and Ann Hronek (Chris), three granddaughters; Cassandra, Sierra and Raelynn, and great grandson Caleb. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy, sister Lillian, and son-in-law Ken. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 2nd, at 4 pm at New Freedom Outreach Center ( 250 Mountain Ave ) in Berthoud.
