Bio
Robert Patterson Kanaman, 74, of Forney, TX, passed away peacefully at home on March 6, 2025 in Wylie, TX. Robert was born on July 28, 1950, in Kaufman, Texas to Maxine Patterson and Robert Wesley Kanaman. Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was known for his unwavering dedication, his warm sense of humor, and his deep love for his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Kanaman; his children, Kara Geller and husband Matthew, Deanna Kanaman, Trey Kanaman and wife Kaitlin, and Ryan Kanaman. Robert was a proud and devoted grandfather to Maddy, Clayton, and Case Geller; Audrey Naylor; and Aria and Sawyer Kanaman. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Quisenberry, and his brother, Kim Kanaman, as well as numerous extended family members and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maxine Kanaman, and his nephew, Dustin Quisenberry . Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at First Community Church Crandall on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:30 AM, officiated by Bro. Bobby Pritchett. Interment will follow at Crandall Cemetery.
