1918: Born in the French Creek area of Clayton County 1920: IA, Clayton, Millville Twp, on farm with parents, brother Eugene 1930: IA, Clayton, Millville Twp, on farm with parents, brother Eugene 1940: IA, Clayton, Millville Twp, single with parents, no occupation entered 1946: Oran E. Benskin and Marion E. Penhollow were married 16 March 1946 at Turkey River, Iowa. He was a mechanic working in Strawberry Point and she was a resident of Millville Township. 1950: CO, Larimer, West Loveland, with husband Oran, no children Before moving to Louisiana, Marion was a teacher in the Guttenberg & Millville area, and did bookkeeping for Benskin Brothers Boatline, which was owned and operated by her husband Oran and his brother Herman. 1976: Moved to DeRidder, Louisiana Marion was a member of the Council on Aging and Royal Neighbors in DeRidder for many years. Oran also sold home grown vegetables, shrimp, oysters, and fish from their home in DeRidder. 2005: Oran & Marion Benskin lived in DeRidder, Louisiana 2012: Died at the Westwood Manor Nursing Home at age 94; private family services.
