Bio

Funeral services for Rita Landry Singleton, 93, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, from St. Theresa Catholic Church. The Rev. Francis Fitzsimmons will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery under the direction of Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation is 4 - 9 p.m. today with a rosary at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Mrs. Singleton died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, in Lake Charles. She was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and owner-operator of Singleton Beauty Shop for 25 years. Survivors include one sister, Irene Hebert of Sulphur, one grandchild; and a number of nieces and nephews.
