Bio
Lori Ann Muhle, 62, of Columbus, Nebraska, died unexpectedly Monday, February 10, 2025, in Lincoln, Nebraska. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18, at Gass Haney Funeral Home. Desserts and refreshments will be offered at Wunderlich's after the service. Visitation will be on Monday, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and continue Tuesday, from 1:00 PM until service time, all at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Lori was born Dec 18, 1962 at Columbus Community Hospital to Donald Muhle Sr and Ina Mae (French) Muhle. She spent her whole life in Columbus and the surrounding areas. She graduated from Lakeview High School in 1980. She went on and got an associate degree at Central Community College in Legal Secretarial Science/Paralegalism. Later, she got a bachelor degree in Business Administration. Lori was employed at Nebraska Public Power District from 1993 until she retired in 2023. Lori had several hobbies she was passionate about. This included baking breads, canning, sewing, and home renovations. In addition to her home hobbies she spent a large amount of time with her kids and grandkids. She was blessed to be a grandmother for the last 4.5 years and known for being the best grandma ever! Survivors include her children; Devin Muhle of Columbus, NE and Kristin (Kyle) Wiese of Lincoln, NE. Grandchildren; Everett and Everly Wiese of Lincoln. Siblings; Donald (Marsha) Muhle Jr of Columbus, NE, Vicki Wilke of Leigh, NE. Nieces include Kelly (Jeff) Voelker, Lindsey (Dwain) Kosch, and Tina (Garrett) Hetzel. Her nephews include Eric (Ariel) Muhle and Reed (Jessica) Wilke. Additional survivors include Casey (Brian) DunnGossin and numerous cousins and great nieces and great nephews. Lori was preceded into death by her grandparents Arnold and Millie Muhle and Louis and Hazel French; and her parents Donald Muhle Sr and Ina Mae (French) Muhle.
