Bio
Anita Joy Oney quietly passed October 27, 2021 from this life into the presence of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was born August 11, 1953. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed any and all activities centered around her home and church. Before retiring, she had been employed for 17 years as an Insurance Underwriter with Louis A. Williams and Associates in Marshall, Texas. She was a faithful member and Sunday School teacher at Lake O' The Pines Baptist Church for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents Travis and Lequetta Harlin; her brother Rex Harlin; as well as her grandson Hunter Oney. She is survived by her husband David Michael Oney of 39 years; two sisters, Juanita Philips of Hughes Springs, Texas; Patricia Anderson of Dallas, Texas; sister-in-law Pam Harlin of Pensacola, Florida; son Lee Jackson and his wife Tonni of Bonham, Texas; daughter Nancy Kirkland and her husband Jason of Avinger, Texas; daughter Christy Watson of Hallsville, Texas; son-in-law Ken Watson of Hallsville, Texas; as well as 14 grandchildren, 3 nieces, and 6 nephews.
