Anna Lee Kirkland SWEETWATER - Anna Lee Kirkland, 84, of Friendswood died Thursday at a Clear Lake hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Palava Cemetery with the Rev. James Baker officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home. Mrs. Kirkland was born in Johnson City and moved to Palava in the 1920s. She had lived in Friendswood for 17 years and was a homemaker and a Baptist. She married Zennie Franklin Kirkland in 1933 in Palava; he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Joe Don Kirkland of Friendswood; two granddaughters, Jana Lee Kirkland of Houston and Julia Sue Delka of Friendswood; and two great-grandchildren.
