Darlene Faye Farris June 14, 1941 - January 1, 2025 FORT WORTH - Darlene Faye Farris passed peacefully in her home on January 1, 2025. Darlene was born June 14, 1941, in Petersburg, West Virginia to parents, Presley and Nettie Bobo. She moved to Fort Worth in the early 1960's and was employed by Pier 1 Imports for over 29 years. Following her retirement in the early 1990's, she purchased a chain of hair salons and owned them for 15 years. In 2007, she married the love of her life and retired again to assist her husband with his law practice. She was a member of Christ Chapel Bible Church. Darlene was a very outgoing person and never met a stranger. She was a social butterfly with a great sense of style. An avid reader, Darlene could spend countless hours browsing the library for new books to read. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Lee Farris; her devoted son, Steven Cullen; brothers, Gene and Bydler Bobo; sister-in-law and best friend, Dottie Bobo ; and her stepdaughter, Tammy Farris Gordon . She is survived by her sister, Carol (Jack) Demcak of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; stepdaughter, Paige (Ed) Chisholm; granddaughters, Farris and Kaylee Chisholm, and Tara Gordon, all of Fort Worth, TX; nephews, Andrew Demcak and husband, Roland DeBeque, of Oakland CA, Christopher Demcak and wife, Janice, of San Diego, CA, Robert Bobo and wife, Tracey, of Rockwall, TX, and Brian Bobo and wife, Cammie, of Hutchinson, KS.
