ANGELINE MAE "ANGIE" DOWELL, 89, passed away November 12, 2008, at her sister's home in Houston, Texas. Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Sophie Jasek, her husband of 51 years Herman Dowell, sisters, Levine Schmidt and Ivy Dell Curry, brother, Henry "baby boy" Jasek and son in law, J.R. Hubbard. Survivors include her daughter Judy Hubbard, granddaughter Michelle Waltens and husband Dan, grandsons, Sean and Dennis Hubbard, sisters, Geraldine Blum, Celestine Widacki, Esther Touchet, Irene Michalsky, Bertha Ruether, Gloria Barta and brother Jerry Jasek. The visitation will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 3600 Brinkman, Houston, Texas 77018 on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 5 to 7 PM with the recitation of the rosary to begin at 7:00PM. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at the church on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:00 AM, Father Clint Ressler officiating. A committal service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antione in Houston, Texas.
