Bio

Cleve H. Cole Chapel services were held Wednesday for Cleve H. Cole, 79, of 8321 Danville Drive in Dallas, at Macon-Douglas Funeral Home, Revs. Earl Harvey,First Methodist Church, and Fred Broyles officiating with burial at Laurel Oaks Cemetery. A retired Mesquite farmer of some 20 years, he died Monday at a Seagoville nursing home after a long illness. Born in Mesquite, he lived here 55 years before moving to Abilene where he was in the motel business. He had lived in Dallas for the past few years. Mr. Cole is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beulah Cole of Dallas; three daughters, Mmes. J. B. Cornelison, J. H. Dean and Vernon Paschall, all of Mesquite; two sons, Denver Cole of Terrell and Lawrence Cole of Dallas; three brothers, C. C. Cole of Dallas, Rufus Cole of Camp Wood and Frank Cole of Van Alstyne; a sister, Laura Paschall of Baldwin Park, Calf.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
