Son of Joel Smith Hankins Sr. and Jane "Jincy" Hollingsworth who married 11 Dec 1819 in Maury Co. TN. Husband of Angeline Marchbanks. --by M&M 2008 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The dates [birth 26 April 1824, death 10 March 1854] were in an old family Bible of my family that belonged to my great grandmother Maxine Annie Hankins and before that I believe it belonged to her grandmother Sarah Angeline Hankins. --courtesy of Tyler (51981848) 7-8-25 Note discrepancy: Headstone appears to say died 12 March/April 1861/1864 which differs from the death date 10 March 1854 above; John is in the 1860 census.
