Patrick R. Cox age 73 passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 21,2025 surrounded by his loving family at Saint Lukes Hospital Kansas City, Mo. Pat was born on September 1,1951 in Saint Joseph, Mo to the late Endell R. and Betty A. (Speelman) Cox. He was also preceded in death by Sister Judy Cox ,brother Christopher Cox and great grandson Omari McRelly. Pat attended Saint Marys catholic school and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1969. Pat worked for Thomas Market, A&P, Cub Foods, Firestone and Goodyear. He owned Pat Cox Pool Service until retirement in 2004. Pat married Linda (Marschel) Cox in June 1971. 3 children came from this union. Sons: Nathaniel L. and Matthew W. Cox. Daughter Jeanie A.Cox. Pat is survived by his wife of 53 years & his children, brother Michael(Christine) Cox, Arlington,TX and sister Joyce Cox, Milwaukee, WI: Grandchildren: Daron(Brittanie)Ashler, Dakota(Linda)Ashler, Cheyana Ashler(Bryce Weber),Erin(Richie)Wood, Haley&Madison Cannon, Chase& Camden Cox: Great Grandchildren: Endell,Emerson,Evalynn,Malory, Drayden,Hunter, Nevaeh, Teagan, Honesty,Zah'kiyah, Karson: and numerous cousins,nieces,nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law. Pat loved his family & enjoyed playing with and teasing the grandkids. He had a great sense of humor and loved the Chiefs & Royals. He will be greatly missed. Celebration of Life will be in May.
