Betty Lou Miller (Franklin), a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her residence in Odessa, Texas, on July 27, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on February 28, 1929, in Mooringsport, Louisiana, Betty's journey through life was marked by her compassion, resilience, and a deep love for her family and the many lives she touched. She shared her childhood with her siblings, Tom Franklin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, John Franklin of Lubbock, Texas, James Franklin of San Antonio, Texas, and Joan Stewart of Snyder, Texas. Her early years were filled with the simple joys of Southern life, which laid the foundation for the incredible woman she would become.
