Bio

Son of John and Hannah Carilla (Holbert) Thompson. Married Susan F. Harrison on December 27, 1866 in Kaufman County, Texas. They were the parents of: Mary, Sidney, Charles, Thomas and Monroe. He fought with the Confederate States Army- Company F, 3rd Texas Calvary. He was captured by Union Forces. He had fought in the battles of Wilson Creek, Pea Ridge and Elk Horn.
