Jack Albert Hall Jr., 74, of Aubrey, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in Knoxville, TN. Born on September 9, 1950, in Dallas, TX, to Jack Albert Hall Sr. and Dolores Festervan, he graduated from Sunset High School in 1969. Jack married Wendy Harrod on May 12, 1979, in Dallas. He studied architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington and worked for Southwest Airlines for 19 years before retiring. Jack also owned his own dump truck business before his transition to his career with Southwest Airlines. He was a skilled horse farrier, team roper/healer, and an Elder at Ridin' for The Brand Cowboy Church in Sanger, TX. Jack was a loving "PawPaw" to his grandchildren, a passionate horseman, and a devoted companion to their dog, Xzandra. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Sr. and Dolores Festervan Liska, his stepmother Jennifer Barrett Hall, his son John Luke Hall, and his step brothers Bill and Craig Barrett. Jack is survived by his wife, Wendy Hall of Aubrey, TX; his son Dustin Hall and wife Christine of Freeport, FL; daughter Megan Petersen and husband Curtis of Krugerville, TX; grandchildren Aidan, Declan, Adeline, Evelyn, Shane, Liam Jack Hall (on the way), Aubree, Jackson, Luka, and Blakely Petersen. He is also survived by his brothers Brad Hall and wife Cindy of Midlothian, TX, Mark Liska and wife Jill of McGregor, TX, his sister Dolores Humphries of Arlington, TX, step-brothers Wade Hall of Oklahoma and James Hall of Emory, TX, step-sister Julie Blood of Moine, IL, and cousin Keith Hall and wife Claudia of Sanger, TX, and other cousins. A visitation will be held for Jack Thursday December 19, 2024, at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey, TX from 6:00PM to 7:30PM. His service will be at 10:00AM Friday, December 20, 2024, at Ridin' for The Brand Cowboy Church, 5926 FM 455, Sanger, TX. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, 380, Roselawn Dr. Denton, TX.
