REDWOOD FALLS — Elvera Kahnke, 101, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Wabasso, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery. The Redwood Valley Funeral Home of Redwood Falls is handling the arrangements. Elvera Kahnke was born Feb. 14, 1907, on the family farm in Vail Township, Redwood County, Minn., to Joseph and Emma (Fixsen) Johanneck. She is survived by her brother, Lenus (Marie) Johanneck of Wabasso; and sister Elaine Watson of California,
