Mary "Anna" Lyon, 88, of Bowie, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 26th, 2024, in Wichita Falls, TX. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, with Pastor Dwyane Lamberson officiating. Anna was born December 20, 1936, in Levelland, TX to Charlie Edward and Myrtle (New) Vinyard. She married Ervin Lyon on June 5, 1954, and spent her days as a homemaker, raising their two sons. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Anna is survived by her sons, Danny Lyon and wife Tina and Joe Lyon, all of Bowie; grandchildren, Anna Lyon of Bowie, Cory Lyon and wife Brittany of Quitaque, TX, Paige Lyon and boyfriend Jack Anderson of Bowie, and Bailey Lyon and wife Catherine of Graham, TX; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patsy Salter and husband Glenn of Lubbock, TX and Martha Turnbow and husband Lynn of Gatesville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
