Bio
She came to the U.S. when she was 24 years old, moving to Joplin, MO, where she married Joseph Roeder. They moved to Grayson County, TX in 1883 and lived in the Sperry community near Dorchester, Grayson County, TX for the rest of her life. She died in Muenster, TX while visiting her daughter, Mrs. J H Schmitz. For the last eight years of her life, she had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Amelia Fallon, in the Sperry community. Survivors include he son, C J. Roeder of near Whitesboro, TX; five daughters, Mrs. Schmitz, Mrs. Fallon, Mrs. H L Dobson, of Luella, TX, Mrs. C M Davis of Sherman, TX, and Mrs. Louise Dagnan of Southmayd, Texas; and twelve grandchildren.
