Bio

Janet Marie (Kliment) Prochaska was born February 2, 1938 in Weston, Nebraska to Edward and Antoinette Marie (Pekarek) Kliment and died at her home in Dwight, Nebraska October 20, 2007, at the age of 69 years, 8 months, 18 days. Janet attended country school near Weston and was a 1955 graduate of Valparaiso High School. Janet married John James Prochaska August 4, 1956 in Touhy, Nebraska. They lived on the home place by Brainard until 1989 when they moved into Dwight. Janet helped with the farming and was co-owner of the Pine Street Inn for 13 years. Janet was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard for many years and currently was a member of Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight. Janet and John were members of Polka Lovers of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Tonie Kliment; her husband, John J. Prochaska in April of 2006; her sister and brother -in-law, Ramona and Ludvik Hotovy; daughters-in-law, Sandra Prochaska and Toni Prochaska. Contributor: mm (50950498)
